Attorney work is the firm's most frequent engagement and the one the whole operation is built around. Counsel instructs; we investigate; the product belongs to the attorney and is prepared on the assumption that opposing counsel will test every line of it.
That assumption changes how the work is recorded. Times, locations, equipment, the identity of the investigator, what was observed and — importantly — what was not. A report that quietly omits the hours when nothing happened is a report that falls apart under cross-examination, and takes the credibility of everything around it when it goes.
The investigator who worked the file is the investigator who testifies to it. That is not a courtesy; it is the only arrangement that survives a competent cross-examination, and it is why we do not subcontract the field work on a matter we will be asked to stand behind.

- We do not give legal advice and do not advise on strategy. We establish facts; counsel decides what to do with them.
- We cannot promise that a court will admit what we find, or agree with it. Anyone who promises that is not being straight with you.
- We will not obtain material unlawfully, including at an attorney's request. Unlawfully obtained evidence tends to be excluded, and it shifts the hearing onto your client's conduct.
