Executive Protection
Planned, low-profile protection for people whose circumstances have changed — built around routine, not theatre.
Licensed Illinois private detective agency · Established 1991 · 35+ years

Most protective work is not what the term suggests. It is reading a schedule before anybody travels, knowing the route and the alternative, understanding who has access to a building, and arranging matters so that the predictable moments — arrivals, departures, a known address, a published diary — are the ones that have been thought about hardest.
The people who need it are rarely famous. More often it is somebody with a case in the courts, an employee who has received threats, a family going through something acrimonious, or an executive travelling somewhere unfamiliar. The requirement is usually temporary and specific.
Done properly it is unobtrusive. An arrangement that draws attention to the person it protects has got the job backwards.
What this covers
Included in an engagement.
- Threat and vulnerability assessment before any detail is arranged
- Route planning, advance work and venue assessment
- Residential and workplace security review
- Close protection for specific events, hearings or travel
- Coordination with local law enforcement where that is appropriate
Said plainly
What this service cannot do.
Worth reading before you instruct anybody in this profession, including us.
- We are civilians. We have no power of arrest or detention, and protective work does not change that.
- We cannot obtain or enforce an order of protection. That is for your attorney and the court.
- No assessment can promise safety. What planning does is remove the avoidable risks and prepare for the rest.
