Insurance & Workers’ Compensation Fraud
Documented activity where a claimed injury and an actual daily life do not match — recorded to the standard a claims file requires.
Licensed Illinois private detective agency · Established 1991 · 35+ years

Insurance and workers' compensation work is surveillance with a specific question attached: is the claimant's reported limitation consistent with how they actually spend a day? It is answered by documenting activity over time, not by catching a single moment.
A single photograph of a claimant carrying a bag proves very little and is easily explained away. A documented pattern across several days — lifting, bending, driving, working, playing a round of golf — is a different matter entirely, because it establishes capability rather than a moment.
The discipline that matters here is restraint in the reporting. A report that overstates what the footage shows is worth nothing when it is tested, and worse than nothing if it misleads the party relying on it. We write what the material supports and no more.

Said plainly
What this service cannot do.
Worth reading before you instruct anybody in this profession, including us.
- We cannot obtain medical records. They are protected, and we would not try.
- We document activity. Whether that activity is consistent with a diagnosis is a medical question, for a qualified examiner.
- Surveillance that finds nothing is reported as finding nothing. A claim is not fraudulent because the claimant had an uneventful week.
